Dental residency
The dental residency program, also known as the extended postgraduate program, is open to students who have achieved a qualifying rank in the residency entrance exam. This program lasts 3 or 4 years and allows students to choose one of three specialties: oral surgery, dentofacial orthopedics, or oral medicine.
Diploma in Advanced Studies in Oral Surgery
Duration: 4 years
Lessons learned:
- A theoretical course comprising 7 TU 6 TU the student’s original program and 1 TU ).
- A common theoretical training program in oral surgery consisting of 8 TU the form of national or interregional seminars.
- An 8-semester practical training program (6 semesters of clinical rotations in oral surgery departments, including 3 in dentistry and 3 in maxillofacial surgery) and 2 semesters of elective courses.
Diploma in Advanced Studies in Dentofacial Orthopedics
Duration: 3 years
Lessons learned:
- A theoretical course consisting of 3 TU.
- A specialized training program consisting of 6 TU.
- A practical training program consisting of six semesters of hospital internships.
Diploma in Advanced Studies in Oral Medicine
Duration: 3 years
Lessons learned:
- A theoretical course consisting of 6 TU.
- A TU theoretical course in dental medicine, TU national or interregional seminars.
- A practical training program consisting of six semesters of hospital internships.
