Initial training

The state-certified Doctor of Dental Surgery degree forms the foundation of the Faculty of Dentistry’s undergraduate program. This program lasts six years and prepares students to practice as dental surgeons. Students wishing to pursue a specialty may continue their studies for three to four years in a residency program.

The School of Dentistry also offers continuing education programs for individuals who have earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, including university diplomas and certificates of advanced study.

Recognized as a center of excellence in education, the School of Dentistry is proud of its faculty, which consists of 67 faculty members. Among them are 11 university professors and hospital practitioners, 22 university lecturers and hospital practitioners, 23 university hospital assistants, 3 university professors emeritus, 1 university professor, 1 associate university professor, 2 associate lecturers, and 3 associate professors.
