WELCOME to the Montpellier Faculty of Dentistry
The Montpellier Faculty of Dentistry is one of the 17 training units of the University of Montpellier. It is also part of a national network of 16 French UFRs offering training in dental surgery. Located at the heart of a renowned medical and university cluster, it offers excellent teaching, combining theory, clinical practice and cutting-edge research.
Equipped with modern facilities and an integrated care center, the faculty enables students to train under optimum conditions, supervised by experienced lecturers. It also plays a major role in innovation and the development of new techniques in dentistry, helping to improve dental care.

Conference on the management of oral trauma
The Association de Formation Odontologique Continue de l'Hérault(AFOCH) is organizing an exceptional evening of continuing education on the theme of " Dental trauma ", to be held on Thursday, June 05, 2025 at 8:30 pm, in the Paul Parguel amphitheater at the Faculty of Odontology.
The emergency management of oral trauma may seem daunting... but it's based on simple, tried-and-tested protocols!
At this conference, Prof. Clara Joseph (Pediatric Odontology - University of Montpellier) will guide you through the latest IADT recommendations.
In addition to the technical aspects, she will focus on stress management - yours, the patient's, and sometimes the parents' - and above all on the key stage of post-trauma follow-up, often neglected but essential to therapeutic success.
