Student Travel Abroad

The University of Montpellier has established a procedure for students traveling outside of Metropolitan France, regardless of the alert level in the destination country.

This procedure applies to students who:

• Travel requests for all areas outside mainland France,
• Applications related to a gap year, an internship abroad, a study abroad program, or a field assignment or trip undertaken as part of one’s studies.

The process will be conducted online starting with the 2026–2027 academic year.

If you are planning a trip, please submit your request on EMVHOL’UM at least 15 days before your departure.
