THE SCHOOL OF DENTISTRY
Founded in 1958, the School of Dentistry quickly established itself within Montpellier’s academic and hospital community. Located in the Les Hauts de Massane neighborhood, it offers a pleasant learning environment for its students and benefits from its proximity to the Montpellier University Hospitals. Its location and the desire to bring together the services of the School of Dentistry and the Dentistry Department of the Montpellier University Hospital led to the creation in 1965 of the Center for Dental Care, Education, and Research.
Today, the School of Dentistry is recognized as the leading regional institution in dental education. It provides both initial training and continuing education for all dental professionals.
The faculty’s educational programs are multidisciplinary and primarily clinically oriented. They address proven medical needs and are designed to be immediately applicable in private practice. Choosing to study at the university means aligning your private practice with the academic-hospital setting and benefiting from high-quality facilities and outstanding instruction.
