Why leave?

  • to discover a country and a culture from the inside
  • to learn a language
  • for a different approach to dentistry
  • with a view to setting up as a dentist in the country at a later date.
  • or simply... for a change of scenery!

Who can leave?

Mobility is open to 4th, 5th and 6th year students. 4th and 5th year students can go for a full academic year. 6th-year students can go away for one semester. During their "4th + 5th + 6th year", students can only go away for a maximum of 2 semesters.

How do I submit my mobility application?

The application file, comprising an information sheet and a letter of motivation, should be submitted to the school department.

Internship in a dental practice abroad

As part of the free-choice course "Observation internship in a dental practice or prosthetic laboratory", students have the opportunity to go abroad for an internship in a dental faculty, hospital or private dental or prosthetic practice.

Students can choose their own destination, or select one of the internships offered by the International Relations Department. Internships last 35 hours and must be completed in a minimum of 4 days.

Why leave?

  • to find out about the dentistry specialty in the host country, how the healthcare and university systems work, etc.
  • for a first approach to the clinic
  • to perfect a foreign language
  • to provide a first contact with a foreign faculty for students wishing to spend a year studying there at a later date

Who can leave?

The internship is open to students in grades 2 to 6.

Teaching at the Faculty of Dentistry, are you interested in international mobility?

As part of the Erasmus + program, teachers (professors, lecturers, 2nd degree teachers, assistants) have the opportunity to carry out a teaching assignment (courses, practical work, clinics, etc.) in a faculty with which they have contacts. The foreign faculty must hold an Erasmus university charter. They can receive an Erasmus allowance to cover their expenses.
