  • Event Type: Oral Health
  • Dates: March 20, 2026
  • Hours: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
  • Location: Lemasson neighborhood

World Oral Health Day will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, in collaboration with partners from the Montpellier Oral HealthProgram and the CPAM.

This event will involve students from the School of Dentistry, who will participate as part of their community service to educate the public about the importance of dental care.

The goal of the day:

Awareness-raising: informing the public about the main oral diseases—tooth decay, periodontal disease, and oral cancers—to improve understanding and early detection.

Prevention: Encourage the adoption of a rigorous oral hygiene routine, including regular brushing, flossing, and preventive checkups with a dentist.

Accessibility: promoting better access to dental care, particularly for people living in socially or economically disadvantaged areas.

Education: Providing practical, tailored advice to help everyone develop good habits and maintain long-term oral health.
