The French Institute for Dental Research (IFRO) invites you to attend a conference on February 5, 2025, dedicated to the dual theme of "Biomarkers and artificial intelligence in dentistry, from academic research to industrial transfer."
This event will be presented by Marjolaine Gosset, Scientific President, and Jacques-Olivier Pers, President of IFRO.
Two professors from the Faculty of Dentistry will present their work there:
- Prof. Christophe Hirtz – Institute for Regenerative Medicine & Biotherapy, Montpellier
Topic: New quantitative Omics approaches highlight breakthroughs for biomarker discovery in Oral Science: physiological and pathological applications.
- Dr. Margaux Vignon – INM, LBPC-PPC, University of Montpellier – INSERM
Topic: The contribution of mass spectrometry to personalized periodontology.
Two half-days packed with discussions, featuring presentations and roundtable discussions.
The first half-day will be dedicated to biomarkers, while the afternoon will focus on artificial intelligence (AI).
Each topic will be introduced by a recognized international expert:
- Prof. Rui Vitorino (Portugal), specialist in salivary biomarkers in oral cancer.
- Prof. Reinhilde Jacobs (KU Leuven University, Belgium), who founded a start-up based on her research into AI.
