Medical hypnosis: what evidence for what effectiveness?
Hypnosis is particularly popular in the entertainment industry and as a method of
personal development. Its medical use cannot be satisfied with a simple craze
or a fad. Indications for analgesic and sedative
and sedative purposes must be supported by scientific data and rigorous
validated by a consensus-based methodology.
The aim of this conference is to detail the results of clinical studies
that validate the indications for medical hypnosis in oral
in oral medicine and surgery. It
establish the benefit-risk ratio of this method.
